Kevin T. LaQuey, is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. He received his Masters Degree in Funeral Science at Central State University in Edmond, OK and has been in the funeral business for 28 years. His family has been in the funeral business in Colorado since 1939. Kevin started his first low cost funeral service in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1996 and has expanded this service to other regions.

Kevin's wife Rhonda La Quey was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado and has been ministering to families for over 19 years. Because of her relationship with God, Rhonda has the ministry of helping families cope in their time of need. Rhonda speaks Spanish fluently and works closely with the families we serve.
 Kevin LaQuey is a 3rd generation funeral director. In 1981, he entered Mount Hood Community College’s School of Mortuary Science program where he earned his Associates Degree in Funeral Science. There, he was Vice President of Sigma Phi Sigma, a fraternity for students of the mortuary profession.
In 1983, Kevin went on to complete his Funeral Director and Embalming Apprenticeship at the LaQuey Funeral home under his father. After receiving his Funeral Director and Embalming License from the New Mexico State Board of Thanatopractice in 1985, Kevin joined the United States Army as a military embalmer for two years.
In 1987, he enrolled at the University of Central Oklahoma, where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Funeral Service and a Masters Degree in Funeral Service Education. In 1990 Kevin was Valedictorian of his graduating class, and was hired at the age of twenty-eight to be the Director of Delgado Mortuary College in New Orleans, Louisiana.
In 1994, Kevin was hired as the director of the Japanese Embalming Association which performed all the embalming services for every funeral home in Tokyo,
Japan.
In 1996 Kevin opened his first low-cost funeral home in Santa Fe, New Mexico, which he sold in 1998 to the third largest funeral corporation in the United States.
Kevin has taught Restorative Art at the college level, and can make your loved one look their very best, at this important time.
